Our farms are certified by every local and international agency, including SAGARPA in Mexico and the USDA.  We consistently seek innovate ways to improve our agricultural procedures with rigorous control in every stage.

Cutting

After being cut, the fruit is wrapped in a double layer of newspaper and transported directly to the packaging area in a series of plastic crates attached to a rail.

Cleaning and Disinfecting

One of the most important quality control processes lies in washing the fruit with disinfectant agents that eliminate any remaining dust or substances.  A prewash includes a mix of water, detergent and disinfectant to eliminate any dust, dirt and other environmental elements.  All fruits are then soaked in a fungicide mixture that inhibits bacteria from developing while the fruit is being transported to the customer.

Selection

The fruit is hand-selected by size, maturation, shape and consistency, eliminating any fruit which is not of first-rate quality

Drying

Each fruit passes through a drying tunnel which uses heated air to eliminate humidity.

Packing

Our product is packaged in 4 different ways, depending on the size of the papaya.  Boxes range from 8 to 11 pieces and papayas are selected according to level of maturation to guarantee a uniform color in each box.
